Summary on Grant Application Form
The condensed matter laser physics programme will be conducted at FELIX by 11 university groups under the overall coordination of Professor C.R. Pidgeon (Heriot-Watt University, HW) along the following research strands (see CASE FOR SUPPORT, PART 3 - Diagrammatic Project Plan): 1) NL inter-subband and inter-sublevel excitation of low-dimensional systems(LDS); 2) NL interband dynamics of narrow gap semiconductors; 3) device applications; 4) NL and high field magnetooptics, organics and superconductivity.
