TERANOVA is a Framework VI Proposal to the EC which will, it is planned, be submitted in mid October 2003. The Application comes from leading European groups involved with the development of Terahertz (THz) technology. This is an area that has been singled out by recent Foresight exercises and has enjoyed strong previous EC support: the applicant is currently involved in several EPSRC programmes in this field. The Proposal envisages the development of novel sensing and imaging systems with applications in: healthcare, biotechnology, security, process control and other gelds. The applicants are leading academic groups throughout Europe with partners from large industry and SMEs. In order to finalise this 10 MEuro Framework VI Integrated Project Proposal , funds for travel are requested as follows:- Brussels, to meet with Project Officer-Paris, to meet with Thales colleagues -Amsterdam, for one partners meeting-UK travel to BAe Systems and Renishaw PLc
