Summary on Grant Application Form
Many interesting, and increasingly practical pseudorandom number generators are based on techniques from number theory. This proposal aims tc prove results on their output statistics, so as to increase their acceptance within the practical cryptographic community. The investigators are exper various disparate combinatorial analytic and algebraic techniques that are relevant to these problems. The proposed aims to encourage the fruitful combination of their techniques in order to extend the known results in this area.
