Our proposal brings together the combined expertise of three Scottish universities with strong and complementary track records to create a Centre for Photonics Engineering, to meet the well-documented and unprecedented demand for highly qualified personnel experienced by the rapidly growing industry sector, with the themes of applications of Photonics in communications, instrumentation, sensing and manufacturing.
