|
The London Mathematical Society Durham Symposia are research symposia of 10 days duration held in July of each year. They bring together mathematical scientists from the UK and selected overseas experts, for exchange of ideas and concentrated research, through lectures combined with opportunity for informal discussion.This symposium will involve researchers with group theory and related fields. The main areas to be covered are: subgroup structure of simple groups and related representation theory, geometries and amalgams, probabilistics, and Galois theory.
