To create a software based advisory tool that considers the impact of construction refurbishment works on customer movement in retailing environments where the client organisation has a requirement or need to continue trading. This will entail examining the way that customer movement is affected by major refurbishment work and then examining the options open to construction planners about the sequencing and placing of construction works. By integrating this with the client's requirements to keep customers moving into and through their retail space a tool can be developed that considers both spatial and behavioural aspects
