Summary on Grant Application Form |
We were recently awarded grant (GR/R14309) ' Exploring Coulomb-correlations in Semiconductors using Ultrafast Nonlinear Optics and Many-Body Theory '. The experimental programme within this grant has been severely impacted by the recent malfunction of our intensified dual array detector and hence we are unable to take any reliable data. This has a serious effect on our ability to meet the objectives of the grant. Consequently, here we request funds to purchase a replacement intensified CCD camera with a high-speed dual detector controler and spectrometer to allow this work to proceed as planned.
