|
It is proposed to hold an international workshop on Fission and Neutron-Rich Nuclei at the Conference Centre of St Andrews University June 21 to 26, 1999. The workshop will be attended by about 100 of the leading researcher in the filed, and follows a similar meeting held November 1997 in Florida. The subject area is now highly topical and developing. The funds requested are to support attendance at the meeting by three young UK scientists, and to help with the organisational costs.
