The Ion Beam Facilities at the University of Surrey are part of the UK National Ion Beam Centre (UKNIBC) which is an EPSRC sponsored National Research Facility. The main aim of the UKNIBC is to provide state of the art ion beam equipment for academic and industrial researchers in the UK to enable them to gain access easily and simply to this type of equipment. This proposal will upgrade several components at the Ion Beam Centre, keeping it at the forefront of Ion Beam equipment.
