Summary on Grant Application Form
The University of Greenwich has been involved in parallel scientific computing and numerical modelling since the eighties with ample experience in distributed and parallel computing. The Wuhan University of Technology has also been involved in parallel and distributed scientific computing and engineering applications with significant contributions. Both institutions wish to foster collaboration in engineering applications. The project will make use two international meetings DCABES 2004 and DCABES 2005 to organise two Special Sessions in Grid/Distributed Computing and Engineering Applications and to discuss further collaboration in the use of distributed computing facilities for engineering applications.
