Summary on Grant Application Form
ABSTRACT (Describe the scope of the Training Package in about 200 words) The professional and skills development delivered in this programme will provide high quality training to the medical device sector that is both responsive to current need as indicated by a recent training needs analysis within this sector and to ongoing evolution. The programme will provide this provision through co ordination of existing activity and where necessary the delivery of new modules/courses. This delivery will be set against a rigorous training assessment that will ensure the need is being met and that can provide information on developments that are required to guarantee the continuing relevance of the programme of continuing professional development (CPD). In particular, this CPD activity will be aimed at the requirements of SMEs as well as providing much needed interprofessional education that results in better management of processes between stakeholder groups.
