|
It is proposed that under the INTERACT initiative a visit is made by one of us to investigate the viability of medium to long term collaboration with a leading research group in India. Although our primary focus will be Dr. M. Sastry's group based at the national chemical laboratoty in Pune, we anticipate visits to other groups such as that led by Prof. C.N.R. Rao at the Indian Institute of Science in Bangalore and that led by Prof. D. Chakaravorty at the Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science in Calcutta.
