|
This proposal relates to a two-day conference on Numerical Analysis of Differential Equations, September 9-10, 2004. This will be a high-level, broadly focussed research meeting consisting solely of invited presentations by acknowledged leaders in the field. In particular the meeting will showcase the internationally-leading profile of UK researchers in the area, and will stimulate the cross-fertilization of ideas and the prioritization of new research themes. The conference will be hosted by the Department of Mathematics at the University of Strathclyde and will form a one-off enlarged and extended version of the annual Scottish Computational Mathematics Symposium.
