Summary on Grant Application Form
We propose to study the ergodicity problem for diffusion semigroups preserving probability measures defined on an infinite dimensional space which have slower than Gaussian tails. The project involves a new class of measures for which some interesting coercive inequalities became recently available opening a potentially fruitful avenue of approach to the ergodicity problems.
