Summary on Grant Application Form
This proposal is a request for 9,119 as partial support for holding the first International Workshop on Search--Based Software Engineering in tt September 2003. Support of 2000 euros (approximately 1,200) has also been offered by Daimler Chrysler, Berlin. The workshop aims to build on the outstanding success of the EPSRC-funded Network, SEMINAL- Software Engineering using Metaheuristic Innovative ALgorithms. As this proposal explains, the UK has a significant lead in Search-based Software Engineering and this modest funding will ensure that this lead is retained and strengthened.
