|
The project studies the Bernstein-Gelfand-Gelfand category of semisimple complex Lie algebras and related categories (relatively complete modules in the sense of Enright, Harish-Chandra bimodules) through finite-dimensional algebras. It aims at defining, describing and classifying translation functors (which are a fundamental tool in this and in related contexts) for appropriate classes of finite-dimensional algebras such as quasi-hereditary or stratified algebras. It also aims at further clarifying the homological structure of the standardly stratified algebras occurring in this context, focussing on determining homological dimensions such as representation dimension and finitistic dimension.
