Summary on Grant Application Form
The proposal is for support for a Visiting Fellow, Dr Regine Laleau. The funding would allow Dr Laleau to visit York a number of times, totalling three months over three years, to work with Dr Polack. These visits would complement visits made by Dr Polack to IIE-CNAM, France, in 1999 and 2001 (funded by Conservatoire national des arts et metiers, CNAM).The research being undertaken by Drs Laleau and Polack is devising a rigorous, tool-supported development method for information systems (IS UML), based on a formally-specified metamodel for an information-specific variant of the leading commercial development method, Unified modellir Language (UML).
