Panel History:
Summary on Grant Application Form
The national consortium brings together key players in the UK to make available a wide range of techniques for fabrication and test of a range of highly innovative carbon based devices. It encompasses displays to power devices, MEM's to low cost electronics, and sensors to solar cells. The proposal covers devices made from a wide range of conjugated polymers, oligomers and organic molecules as well as the various forms of carbon: a-C, diamondn and nanotubes. The attainment of devices in materials which have high carrier mobilities and low densities of traps is the major focus of the work.
