The proposed research will be based on the themes (i) - (iii) given in 'Objectives' above, hinging on water into water-layer interaction only at first. 1 model there involves a fundamental new problem scientifically as well as industrially, needing difficult novel analysis followed by reduced-system computation, including quasi-contour dynamics, to explain detailed changes in topology and formation of rebound droplets. Realistic effects to be added analytically are especially for incidence, layer depth, pre-existing air and water motion, surface tension and viscosity. The mathematical mo will be validated through the Cranfield linkage in terms of direct simulations and experiments, as well as being used to predict rebound criteria, ma; exchange and droplet disintegration properties, in preparation for the identified exploitation route particularly in industrial splashing-droplet modellir cases.
