Raising public awareness of greenhouse gas emissions reduction strategies, concentrating on energy efficiency and renewable energy for the decision makers of tomorrow - i.e. the present youth.Working with Woodcraft Folk, Centre for Alternative Technology and Leicester City Council Education Department to provide week long activity based material for:- Youth camp- Residential visit to the Centre for Alternative Technology- Suspended curriculum events in schoolsProviding the necessary materials to carry out such events based on previous EPSRC work and the work of partner organisations. Measuring the changes in attitudes and behaviour before and after these week long awareness raising events to quantify the benefits of the work as part of the project evaluationAimed primarily at secondary school children but also including primary, 6th form college and adults (i.e. teachers).
