|
One of the main questions in dynamical systems is the density of hyperbolic maps in low dimensions. Recently much progress was made by Lyubich, Graczyk and Swiatek for the quadratic, Kozlovski for the unimodal case, and Levin and van Strien for critical covering maps. Very recently W. Shen, the proposed Research Assistant, proved C z density. The research is intended to build on this remarkable result.
