Summary on Grant Application Form
Integrable quantum Calogero-Moser systems play a very special role in modern Mathematical Physics. About 5 years ago AP Veselov et al found integrable generalisations of these systems which do not possess Coxeter group symmetry. These so-called deformed Calogero-Moser systems also have some remarkable properties but the nature of their integrability is still to be understood. Very recently AN Sergeev discovered a surprising relation of these deformations with Lie superalgebras of type gl(m/n). The aim of the project is to develop this result still further. It is planned to apply the theory of Lie superalgebras to construct new integrable deformations of Calogero-Moser systems and investigate them using the theory of integrable systems, Lie superalgerbras and related theory of symmetric functions.
