|
The sputtering system at the University of Leeds was developed from an older system originally installed in the late 1980's. The main vacuum pump is aging Varian cryopump, the performance of which has degradede significantly over the past 12 months. In this proposal we are requesting funding to replace this key component of the system in order to be able to continue the substantial EPSRC funded research programmes, both in-house and collaborative, which rely on this important piece of infrastructure.
