1. The classification problem for the QS designs is a difficult open problem. The work in [14] shows that if x = 0 and there is a good block, then the parameters can be determined. They are either classical or one or two exceptional sets. Only one example is known in the classical case. The aim is to find more or show non-existence.2. The analogous problem for the case where x = 1 is of recent interest. It involves solving simultaneous systems of Diophantine equations and exploiting the geometry. Some progress has been made. The aim is to determine the possible parameter sets and to find examples.
