Summary on Grant Application Form
Combinatorial designs include block designs, semi-latin squares and other related designs. Some of interest to pure mathematicians, others useful in designed experiments. The aim of the project si to deveop specialist software for dealing with designs, much as GAP and GRAPE with groups, and graphs respectively. This will become the heart of a web resource which makes designs (and their properties) available to those who need them, wether for further research in combinatories or for a designed experiment in some branch of science.
