Summary on Grant Application Form
The DREAM project developed an integral knowledge model of aircraft modification business. This forms the basis of a working methodology for cost estimation and management of aircraft modification projects in the range of 4000 to 200,000 man-hours.The objective of the secondment project is to realise the cost estimating and management methodology developed in the DREAM project into the working procedures and supporting IT systems of Marshall Aerospace. The secondment period would also allow further research to extend the application of the DREAM model to the full range of aircraft modification projects as well as the contract maintenance projects in the aerospace industry.
