We wish to extend our work on water-soluble copolymers based on tertiary amine methacrylates to include ABC triblock architectures. A wide range of copolymer compositions and comonomer sequences will be prepared, using both Group Transfer Polymerisation and ATRP. We intend to take advantage of the controllable hydrophilicity to prepare a range of new micellar structures exclusively in aqueous media, with no added co-solvents and to investigate their controlled-release properties.
