Summary on Grant Application Form
The proposal concerns the use of powder X-ray diffraction to provide appropriate state of the art of analysis for a series of research programmes. These programmes are already on-going although further grants may be initiated due to the availability of the equipment. These programmes involve the analysis structure, unit cell parameters and phase change within: Novel Titanosilicate Materials; new Physical forms of Known Materials; Reitveld Refinement and DIFFaX; Combinatorial Approaches and Microwave Synthesis; Chiral Zeolites; Crystal Growth Studies; Stability and Phase Changes in Porous Materials; Synthesis and Applications of Mesoporous Materials; Hierarchical and Composite Porous Materials; Nano-scale Electrified Interfaces.
