Summary on Grant Application Form |
The proposed HPC platform forms part of a University strategy aimed at sustaining and enhancing the current level of excellence in simulation and modelling at Lancaster. This application for a high performance computing facility is aimed at sustaining and enhancing the research activities of more than 13 full-time, HEFC-funded academies, from the departments of Statistics, Physics and Environmental Science. A range of research projects (see above objectives) will be tackled, which require similar methods of solution, arising from shared features in the underlying dynamical equations.
