Provision of the above equipment will directly enable new research activities and allow the extension of existing research in more than 12 departments in 3 different Faculties at UCL. Specific details of the groups involved and the areas of research are included in the attached Case for Support. The research groups involved have further collaborations extending across more than two dozen other departments at UCL together with national and international collaborations which would further benefit from this equipment.
