A large computer systems is proposed to perform extensive computational analysis of a number of well established, industrially relevant research themes. The system is an order to magnitude more powerful than systems currently available and will be shared by all members of the department. A discount of 67% off standard educational prices has been provided by the supplier and the whole project represents good value for money.
