Summary on Grant Application Form
Investigation of wave forms and parameters of electrical pulses, leading to minimum of energy consumption. Investigation of influence of the rate of energy deposition on energy consumption of rock and slags and liberation of minerals and metals. Study of permittivity, conductivity, ionization potential and mechanical strength of rock and slags and developing parameter, allowing prediction of disintegration and liberation performance and the energy consumption in electrical disintegration. Optimisation of the density of energy in the electrode system and design of the efficient configuration of electrodes. Designing and construction the disintegration chamber for liberation of minerals and metallic fragments.
