This grant application (k20, no manpower requested) is to promote improved collaboration between the Nottingham group and the six other European laboratories collaborating in the COST-D12 working group Attaining Selectivity and Understanding Mechanism in Copper-Promoted Asymmetric Transformations . The collaborations will build on novel asymmetric methodology being developed in Nottingham. The main mechanism of collaboration will be the exchange of young highly able and motivated researchers.
