PropPlan is novel, BDD-based planning algorithm, recently introduced by Fourman.The proposed project will:1. Develop a robust implementation of PropPlan, that can compete with state-of-art systems internationally, and that will be released to the academic community:2. allow Fourman to attend two conferences: the fifth International Conference on Artificial Intelligence Planning and Scheduling (AIPS2000), and the Seventh International Conference on Principles of Knowledge Representation and Reasoning (KR2000) Breckenridge, CO USA April 8-19, 2000, and to compete in the AIPS-2000 Planning Competition.This will allow him to evaluate this novel algorithm against the state-of-art competition form the AI Planning community, and to make contact with this community so that his future work in this area is informed by the international state-of-art.
