Summary on Grant Application Form
Chiral complexes of ruthenium oxo species, containing enantiomerically pure chelating ligands, will be prepared by parallel synthesis and asayed as efficient catalysts in desymmetrising enantioselective alcohol oxidations. This novel strategy delivers valuable chiral non-recemic building blocks of pharmaceutical or fine chemical interest.
