We have discovered a remarkable dynamic system in which high energy excitations are created from a low temperature cloud of excitations. This astonishing result was first extracted experimental measurements on liquid helium and since then we have developed a goo by which we can consider the various ramifications of this phenomena. This new arises because we create exciatons that only occupy a small solid angle in momentum and this coupled with strongly anisotropic interactions makes it qualitatively different usual isotropic case. One of the more spectacular predictions is that supra thermal den high energy excitations are formed. We know of no other system in physics wl happens. However we see no reason why this cannot occur in other systems and we believe our work will encourage others to search for this effect elsewhere.
