Summary on Grant Application Form
The proposal will support the creation of a research network for human factors academic researchers and industrial practitioners in the area of road transport telematics. The network will promote communication and debate, formally and informally, in order to improve knowledge and understanding within a critical but fragmented field of research. While the main aims of the network will be to facilitate the process by which innovative reaserch ideas and collabortaive projects are generated it is anticipated that the network will play a major role in influencing the research agenda and in helping to inform the public debate on the introduction of advanced telematic systems.
