Summary on Grant Application Form
A broad combinatorial chemistry research program involving ten UK universities, sixty two faculty members and their associated research groups, will be undertaken. Central to all the programs is automated electrospray liquid chromatography/mass spectrometry capable of handling both individual samples and multisample microtiter plates. The equipment will be used to optimise solution phase and solid phase chemistry and to analyse combinatorial libraries and arrays produced to address problems in chemistry, biology, medicine and materials.
