Speech reception thresholds will be measured in the context of interfering speech and non-speech interference. The interfering sound will emanate from singular or multiple virtual sound-source locations. The roles of interaural time and level differences in predicting speech reception thresholds will be orthogonally manipulated. A series of experiments will manipulate the time and level differences independently and different frequency regions in order to compare the effects of these manipulations on speech intelligibility with their effects on sound localisation.
