The applicant will spend 3 months as a visiting professor at the Communications Research Laboratories of McMaster University, Hamilton, Canada. There will also be a short visit to Professor David D. Falconer at Carleton University, Ottawa. During the three month period the applicant will collaborate with Professor Haykin on chaotic signal analysis of radar sea clutter and the development of radio receivers for impulsive noise environments.
