Summary on Grant Application Form
This is a proposal for the study of the exciting physics of light induced phase transitions in confining gallium films. Initial results in this laboratory have shown that very low light intensities do cause dramatic changes in the dielectric properties of gallium making possible a new method for the control of light with light.
