Summary on Grant Application Form
The MAPPSEE project will research the representation of three types of architecture: product, process, and supply chain. The project will develop a framework for exploring the emergent issues concerning interaction of these architectures brought about by the extended enterprise. It will propose a specificframework for the use of SE teams to manage the asynchronous nature of these architectural structures the context of a current multi-national aerospace project. The project will further develop the not--'-of 3DCE and propose methods for its implementation within the aerospace project. The portfolio of extant processes and conceptual product designs, provided by a lead industrial partner (and a selectionof firms from the network of project partners), will provide the research environment for thje investigation.
