(i) Exploration of the Gardener-Schoutens quantifier eliminations for rigid analytic geometry, connections with the work of Lipschitz-Robinson, logical implications of Berkovich's space.(ii) Dissemination and expansion of work by Denef and Loeser on motivic integration, using model theretic ideas of Pas and Macintyre.(iii) Development of P-minimality and C-minimality, and applications to VC-dimension.(iv) Elimination of imaginaries, and independence, in valued fields, and the structure of definable groups.(v) Structures carrying generically a mixture of valuations, derivations, and automorphisms and liftings of generic automorphisms from residue fields.(vi) Applications of P-adic and rigid analytic methods to group theory.
