Dr Kuznetsov and I will develop mathematical models to investigate possible reasons for a lack of efficiency of anti-tumour immunity. The modelling will focus on(a) reaction kenetics of chemokines with cell surface receptors,(b) the effects of cytokines on cell migration, and(c) the dynamics of immune cell interactions with avascular tumours.The modelling will involve the use of nonlinear odes, pdes, bifurcation analysis, numerical analysis and parameter estimation.
