Summary on Grant Application Form
The format of the ESF European Research Conferences is similar to that of a Gordon Conference, allowing substantial time for discussion and encouraging the development of an informal atmosphere. The programme will be built around approximately 20 invited talks of 40 minutes each on the following themes: DYNAMIC SIMULTATIONS AND TIMESCALES; LARGE SIMUTATIONS AT THE NANOSCALE; SOLVENT EFFECTS; EXCITATIONS; MOLECULAR ELECTRONICS; BALLISTIC CONDUCTION; NANOMANIPULATION; PROBE MICROSCOPY. There will also be a poster session to which all those attending will be encouraged to contribute, and all those presenting a poster will have the chance to make a short (3-minute) presentation to the entire meeting.
