|
The programme is concerned with the study of scattering data of elliptic operators acting on noncompact manifolds. We intend to study the asymptotic behaviour of the spectral shift function for various types of singularities of the manifold near infinity (cylindrical, conical and hyperbolic ends) as well as for different types of operators (Laplacians, higher order operators and systems). Another area of investigation is study of resonances, their existence, location and asymptotic distribution.
