Summary on Grant Application Form
Theoretical tools will be developed for the analysis of additive Schwarz methods in 3D, and used to derive bounds for Schwarz methods of hexahedral elements. Efficient, practical algorithms for hp-FEM on prismatic and tetrahedral elements will be investigated. Mathematical analyses will be provided giving theoretical support to the conclusions.
