Summary on Grant Application Form
The programme aims to investigate wideband and narrowband MC_CMDA interference cancellation techniques. Wideband implies that the cancellation will be performed over the entire orthoganol frequency domain multiplex (OFDM) signal in a single operation. This will be compared and contrasted with narrowband schemes where the cancellation will be performed in parallel on each individual OFDM channel. This investigation will also consider associated receiver issues such as processor complexity, channel estimation and tracking for synchronisation.
