To organise a 1.5 day workshop to-raise awareness of on-line sensor technology of relevance to the particle technology and soft solids and wider engineering community.-with industrial advisors present, to identify specific industrial needs associated with fundamental understanding and manufacture of soft solids relating to measurement of composition, flow and structure.-to stimulate new grant proposals to meet these needs-to produce a report on the meeting for EPSRC and the community.
