This is a proposal for funds to support the work on the MBE facility at Leeds during the period between the end of the current grant in September 1997 and the start of a new grant in January 1998. The funds are required to support the consumables required to support the consumables required for current studentships working on magnetic and structural properties of Fe/Au and Co/Cu multilayers, as well as current perpendicular to the plane magnetoresistance studies.
